damages that you cause when you are responsible for an accident, but
does not cover medical expenses. It also pays for a lawyer to
defend you if you are sued for damages that you cause.
Personal Injury Protection - This insurance pays medical
expenses if you or other persons on your policy are hurt in an car
accident. This is also called "No Fault Coverage". This
insurance is used to cover your medical expenses or those of other
persons on your policy whether or not you are at fault.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage - This insurance protects you
if you are in an accident with someone who doesn’t have proper
insurance coverage. A minimum amount of coverage is required.
You can purchase higher limits if you want more coverage, but cannot
exceed your primary liability limits.
